He was administered a total of 20 mg of Morphine prior to his arrival in ED which reduced his pain to 5/ 10. He was found to have a large laceration to his left thigh, approximately 20 cm long. The paramedics reported that it had been actively bleeding when they arrived; it is now covered in a pressure bandage.
